Last week I decided to work on personal accountability by posting a weekly review of my workouts and nutrition. The goal is to do this throughout August, helping me stay motivated during a busy and HOT month! Check out week one here first.
WORKED IT OUT
5am class at Orangetheory Old Town (treadmill, rowing and strength HIIT). Taught a 7:30pm PRO class at Pilates ProWorks Alexandria. LONG A%% DAY!
Rest Day. Taught a 7:30pm PRO class at Pilates ProWorks Alexandria.
5:15am personal training session for a client. 7:30pm Cardio & Core HIIT class at WorX (Alexandria studio I found on Classpass).
30 minute lunch time workout - All Arms, my fave.
Taught PRO at Pilates ProWorks from 8:30-10:30am, then took another instructor's matBox class. Wiped me out! Straight home to nap hah!
1:15pm class at Orangetheory Old Town (treadmill, rowing and strength HIIT).
It was a lot of HIIT this week...need to work in some yoga this week - NEEDED!
ATE IT UP
On the food front I've decided to take a short break from all the home cooking. It's full on and everyone needs a time out! Here's what I shared on Instagram earlier today:
Taking a few weeks off home cooking (for the adults). What with working full time and part time, parenting and getting in my own workouts...well, as the saying goes - you can do anything, but you can't do everything 👊🏻 Our MightyMeals order just arrived and I'm more than a little excited. I tried a few of their meals last week and was very pleased: organic/grassfed, local farms, macros and allergies clearly noted...packaged ready to travel and reheat. And bonus, Pilates ProWorks Alexandria is a pickup so if I'm ordering less than the 13 meal min for home delivery I can pick it up there after I teach my Monday night class. Less work for me without sacrificing my nutritional standards 👌🏻 All around win.
How was your week? What did you do differently?
Hugs & Planks,
